Though she has been producing art since childhood, painting people has been her focus for the past 13 years. Aimee seeks to reflect an absolute likeness that captures the subject's true essence. She strives for romantic realism that draws an emotional response from the viewer. Aimee is a member of the Apex Arts Council, Fine Arts League of Cary, Fellowship of Christians in Portraiture and the Portrait Society of America.

In addition to being an artist, Aimee teaches high school and elementary art. She has lived in the Triangle area since 1980 and now lives in Cary, NC with her husband Huntley and two children, Shannon and Brad.
